The PlaneSense Fractional aircraft ownership program charges owners an hourly rate charge, based on occupied flight time inside our Primary Operating Area. No dead legs are charged (empty repositioning) unless the flight is outside the Primary Operating Area, which is defined as:
• The continental United States and Canada east of ninety-one (91) degrees west longitude (approximately east of the Mississippi River), and south of forty-eight (48) degrees north latitude, excluding Newfoundland (covers Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City).
• The following twelve airports in the Bahamas:
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Treasure Cay, Marsh Harbor, Sandy Point, Great Abaco Island
North Eleuthra, Rock Sound, Governors Harbor, Eleuthra Island
Nassau International, New Providence Island
San Andros, Andros Town, Andros Island
South Bimini, Bimini Island
Exuma, Exuma Island
Please note that all of the other Bahamian airports are not included. Unfortunately with the additional complexity of operating in and out of the airports not listed above, we will continue to charge the repositioning from the United States to any airport not included in the list above, even if a stop is made at one of the airports listed above.
All flights which take a Program Aircraft outside the Primary Operating Area require a minimum notice of 48 hours, and they will be subject to a repositioning charge (subject to annual escalation) per flight hour for the unoccupied flight leg of the aircraft outside of the Primary Operating Area.
With the addition of the spn to our fleet, we are also adding the island of Bermuda as a destination.
For estimates of all flight time and charges, or for specific repositioning information for spn flights to Bermuda, please contact our sales department at 866-214-1212.
